The Olga Dolgina Memorial Fund

The Olga Dolgina Memorial Fund

About the Fund

The purpose of the Olga Dolgina Memorial Fund is to make Quaker materials available to Russian-speakers in their own language. It was set up in February 2010 to continue the work of Friends House Moscow’s outstanding translator Olga Dolgina, tragically killed by a car accident.

The work of the Fund is administered by a small Working Group of four experienced Friends, appointed by the FHM international Board of Management. Working together with FHM staff, the Group selects materials and commissions their translation. Materials are published initially in electronic format in the FHM Russian library on the www.quakers.ru website. The Working Group will give consideration to hard-copy publication of materials in the light of interest shown through the website library. For a list of works already translated see our Outreach section.

Further information about the Fund can be obtained from the Treasurer, James Eddington, or the Clerk of FHM British Committee, Patricia Cockrell.
